Making the Cut



STI Host Emmy Award Winning Writer Lisa Albert and Mary Kate O’Flanagan for Writing Workshop

Three-time Emmy award winner Lisa Albert and Story Consultant Mary Kate O’Flanagan, will break down episodes written by Lisa Albert for two acclaimed series: Mad Men and Halt and Catch Fire.

The aim of the course is to give screenwriters and development personnel an opportunity to hone their understanding of the structure of television drama and of scene writing.  As it is aimed at experienced professionals there will be limited numbers and a round table format in order to encourage interactivity and in-depth discussion.

 The one day event (€75) takes place in Bow Street on Monday, October 9th, 2017 and will focus on the theme of ‘Story Arcs and Scene Writing for Television Drama.’

This course is open to experienced writers, development personnel, directors and editors.
