CANNES: Irish Film Industry Out in Force at Film Festival |
| 19 May 2010 | The Irish film industry has been out in strong numbers at the Cannes Film Festival so far. The event launched on Wednesday, May 12th and will run until Sunday, May 23rd and has seen Irish projects screening and selling and Irish filmmakers make the most of networking events. |

NITV Welcomes IFB Shorts Distribution Policy Change |
| 01 Apr 2010 | The Irish Film Board (IFB) this week announced changes to its policy for the distribution of short films produced under the Signatures, Short Shorts, Frameworks and Reality Bites schemes. Previously these distribution rights were maintained by the IFB for five years and a distributor, NITV, was appointed to distribute the shorts internationally, the films’ producers are now invited to appoint their own sales agent. |
