Applications Open for Film Fleadh TV covering the 2017 Galway Film Fleadh
02 Jun 2017 : Katie McNeice
The annual training initiative run by Greasán na Meán Skillnet & The Galway Film Fléadh is again accepting applications from filmmakers to produce a web based magazine programme that will run for the duration of the Fleadh.

The training is free to eligible jobseekers and runs from July 3rd-17th.

Participants will receive on site training from industry professionals and will also participant in a series of high end workshops, after which they will be launched into the production of Film Fleadh TV.

The online magazine will cover all aspects of the Fleadh, from in depth interviews with actors and directors to funding organisations, casting agents, as well as previews and reviews of movies, documentaries and short films.

Fleadh TV will document the Galway Film Fleadh completely, from casting and creation to final draft and financing.

Some experience or previous training in the film and television industry is an advantage.
