Irish Public Funding
The Irish Film Board / Bord Scannán na hÉireann
Bord Scannán na hÉireann provides loans and equity investment to independent Irish film-makers to assist in the development and production of Irish films.
Department of Arts, Sports and Tourism
This Department is responsible for the certification of films to qualify under Section 481. It also has responsibility for the Irish Film Board, the Arts Council, RTE, and the Broadcast Commission of Ireland.
Northern Ireland Screen (NIS)
Northern Ireland Screen (previously NIFTC) was established to provide film and television producers with all the assistance and information they need when considering filming in Northern Ireland.
Enterprise Ireland
Enterprise Ireland is responsible for the growth in sales, exports and employment of Irish companies including those in the film and television sectors.
