| While at college, Grainne Humphreys ran the UCD Film Society and in 1994 started work as Administrator of the Junior Dublin Film Festival. She joined the Film Institute of Ireland in April 1995, as Education Officer with responsibility for developing the Institute’s educational policy and enhancing the film programme for students and teachers at both primary and secondary levels.
